A PERSON IS LOCKED IN WHAT HE SEES

A person closes himself in his world
Despite all the signs which tell him
Come to, open the door
Tomorrow is already here
Get up and go out to the sunlight
To open spaces

A person is locked in what he sees
Although she whispers in his ears
Words
Witchcraft she knows to perform
Things he will no more
He doesn’t feel how the moon
shines again in his window

A person is thrown into his loneliness
Until he is beaten inside
And all his life he goes
through a winding road
From the day he is born
to the day he passes away

A person is diving into his depth
And then his life move from wall to door
Air, suffocation, to the blowing wind
And his melody
Is the flame of his life, the fire in his heart

Idan Raichel

"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern."
— William Blake
